Pre-K Turtles transition to school
Welcome to your final year with us at SELC.
This is a whole year of anticipation and excitement; we aim to provide a balance between valuing the preschool stage for each child in its own right as well as prepare for what is to come next!
Social Skills are paramount; the ability to wait, speak up, try something tricky and try, try again will be invaluable life skills and are at the heart of every experience and space provided in Prep.
Our Smart boards help to add another level of learning into this environment and generates great anticipation amongst the children and brings concepts to life right before their eyes.
Children enjoy exclusive use of the preschool playground allowing for a greater level of challenge, movement and space for cooperative games and and introduction to the structured games of their futures.
With access to computers and technology and the chance to interact with the local community through short excursions and extracurricular events children will leave us as well rounded and confident learners ready to tackle any challenge.
We love when families keep in touch beyond this point and let us know how are little ones are going, so once you start at BIG SCHOOL be sure to pop in and visit!
